My girls are obsessed with leggings; maybe it’s because they insist on wearing dresses every single day, no matter the weather or occasion. Monkeybar Buddies designs leggings ($24), capris ($24) and shorts ($16)that come in all the colors that match my daughters dresses. It’s a no-brainer.
I also love the way the leggings look on their own. They are slightly thicker than the leggings we bought from Old Navy. My daughter will be wearing them with long sleeved tees all winter long. The capris and shorts have a little bow at the bottom that looks great with dresses and skirts. The shorts are also available in a ton of cool prints. I can see wearing them over leotards or bathing suits in the summer.
Monkeybar Buddies are made from high quality cotton that doesn’t loose it’s shape or rip in the wash. They were created not to bunch under dresses or look bulky. Sizes run from 2T – 16.
Monkeybar Buddies were definitely designed with my daughters in mind. Yours, too?

My girls wore See Kai Run’s Smaller shoes when they were crawling, See Kai Run when they were first walking and now they’re wearing Kai to preschool and kindergarten. The Kai Collection, for ages 3-6 years, looks as whimsical and stylish as the shoes for younger kids, but they’re sturdier and more durable.
Every season I am wowed by the styles, each so sophisticated and cool without losing the charm of a shoe for little ones. Yes, there are flowers and the colors my girls crave like pink and purple, but the shoes are neutral enough to wear with all their clothes and not as cutesy and sparkly as some of the other brands.
Kai has a new collection of sneakers that I’m in love with. The color combinations are very trendy and the styles are classic and almost old school. And for all those schools that ask for sneakers only, the Mary Jane sneakers are the perfect solution. They look fab with dresses and play well at gym time, too.
See Kai Run, Smaller (for babies) and Kai Shoes meet the American Podiatric Medical Association’s standards.

Here’s another post I wrote for Momtrends about eco-friendly kids’ furniture and decor. I designed an entire room using sustainable furniture and it’s contemporary, fun and very kid friendly.
For the photo of a eco-friendly rug, I featured the FLOR tiles in our playroom. I love our FLOR tiles. They really make our little playroom feel spacious.
And check out this coat hanger! What a cute place to hang your child’s favorite hoodie, so you can just grab it when you’re heading out the door!

I spotted the coolest DIY toy box redo on one of my favorite design blogs, Little Green Notebook. She took a large Chinese chest, gave it a paint job, stapled some pretty fabric to the inside and now it’s a statement piece in her daughter’s room. Oh, yes, and it holds a lot of toys!
I feel like I’ve seen these chests before and if I see one again, I’ll be tempted to pick one up. I don’t think a chest like this is safe for a very small child because they could get their fingers stuck in it, but for an older child, it’s a stylish way to hold a lot of stuff.
I absolutely love the colors she chose, from the pink outside to the yellow fabric liner and orange and hot pink trim. Very glam!
And the chalkboard in the background is really hot, too. And the rug. And the black chair…

Petunia Pickle Bottom designs the most exotic and lovely printed diaper bags. Check out my review on Momtrends of their two bags made from 100% organic cotton: the Sashay Satchel and the Wistful Weekender. Both are dreamy.
Feast your eyes on this blue love… It’s the perfect summer bag, whether you carry diapers or not!
Polarn O. Pyret is one of my favorite brands. Look at that dog. They do cute really well. Some brands try to do cute and they just look cute-sy. With Polarn O’s signature stripes, this shirt is more than cute. It’s a classic. It’s also Certified Organic.
